BOAT RENTAL AGREEMENT AND WAIVER 

The UNDERSIGNED, for and in consideration of the privilege of operating a boat at Grayson Lake Marina, hereby Assume all risks of such operation for and on behalf of the undersigned, and each person or guest taken aboard, and specifically agrees to indemnify Grayson Lake Marina, its successors or assigns, for any and all injury, loss or damage to the said boat, or to any person or guest aboard said boat. 

In accepting and agreeing to operate the said boat according to the rules and regulations of Grayson Lake Marina, which said rules and regulations are considered to be a part of this waiver as though copied herein verbatim, the undersigned does hereby waive and relinquish any and all claims for damage, injury to loss, of any kind, character, or description against the said Grayson Lake Marina, its successors, or assigns, its officers, agents or employees, arising out of injury, damage or loss, either to the person or property of the undersigned, or the person or property of any guest or other person aboard said boat. 

It is specifically agreed and understood that the boat and its gear and equipment, when received for use in accordance with the rules and regulations of Grayson Lake Marina, are in seaworthy condition, mechanically and otherwise; and the undersigned agrees to return this said boat, and all gear and equipment in the same condition, to the Dock Office from which it was rented. IF ANY OR ALL OF THE FOREGOING CONDITIONS ARE NOT MET THE DAMAGE DEPOSIT WILL BE FORFEITED. 

The undersigned further agrees to pay in advance for the use of said boat and equipment in accordance with the published schedule of rates in the Marina Office, and understands there are NO REFUNDS on boat rentals.

SUMMARY OF PONTOON RENTAL RULES: 

1. All operators must be twenty one years old or older. 
2. No alcohol consumption or drug use by any operator. 
3. Renters of the boat shall be deemed in charge of said boat and agree to operate said boat in Accordance with all Corps of Engineers and State Regulations. 
4. Boat renters are not allowed to tow other boats or tubes, etc. with the rental boat. 
5. All persons must stay inside the railing of the Boat while in motion. No sitting on the back hatch, sitting or standing on the front deck outside of railing. 
6. No more than eight (8) people are allowed on the rental boat. Children are counted in that number.
7. All persons and belongings must be loaded and unloaded at the main dock. 
8. All children twelve and under must wear Coast Guard approved life jackets at all times. 
9. No charcoal or gas grill usage allowed on board. 
10. No pets allowed on board. 

Signee (must be 21 years old or older) By signing this agreement, lessee acknowledges that he/she has read the entire agreement and understands the terms and conditions imposed by lessor.
